The Sigma Strategic Services Group, or "The Sigmas" are a group of airsofters based in Edmonton, Alberta , Canada. We've been playing together since 2004, and in 2007 decided to start a new team, with the goal of bringing back some of the more enjoyable elements we seemed to be losing in recent history.
In 2007 we began using our new, 160 acre field located north of Edmonton. Featuring a creek, some small elevation changes (and one significant one) and a combination of open ground, trail systems and various foiliage, the new field can accomodate any bush-based sim we can put together.
We typically start playing in mid-April and push through until the snow flies in October or November. While previously we played weekly, we now play bi-weekly with organized games running from usual 4-5 hours all the way up to 18 hour games.
